Projects & Programs

The Housing Authority adopts strategic plans (roughly every five years) and action plans (annually) to address the community's housing needs. The Authority is currently updating both the Affordable Housing Strategic Plan and the Housing Supply Plan to address the specific needs identified in the 2022 Housing Needs Assessment. While the Authority updates these plans, it continues to implement the active projects and core programs described below.

Sherman Park in Victor
Workforce Housing Project

The Sherman Park Workforce Housing Project, having received $4M in state funding and zoning approval from City of Victor, is now in the design phase. The project will provide 90 rental units, with 23 restricted as affordable to households earning under 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), and 32 units reserved for households earning between 80% and 120% of AMI.

Depot Square, Driggs, Idaho

Affordable Housing Project

Depot Square is a mixed-use project that is under construction at the corner of Depot Street and Front Street in Driggs. The project was completed in August 2023 and includes 30 deed-restricted affordable apartments as well as retail spaces, live-work units and business incubator spaces.

175 Front Street in Driggs
Affordable Housing Project

The 175 Front Street project, having received an award of $4M in state funding and City zoning approval, is in the design phase. The project is located on the south third of the old county road & bridge yard along Front Street in Driggs, a half-block north of Depot Square, which NWRECC is also developing. The project will provide 28 apartments that will be affordable to those earning less than 80% of the Area Median Income, as well as ground-floor space for use by Teton County.
